Step Up’s Programs & Services in Georgia
The Step Up Georgia program is currently managing four projects in the counties surrounding metro Atlanta.
Since accepting our first referral in March 2019, our team has moved hundreds of individuals out of homelessness into housing units, and those numbers continue to grow rapidly. Of the members we have housed, 95% remain stable in their new homes. The program now has access to hundreds of housing vouchers to move individuals out of homelessness in metro Atlanta into scattered-site and supportive housing.
Individual housing units provide scattered site and supportive housing to over 2,500 individuals including families throughout Metro Atlanta. These units are integrated with existing housing and provide housing and support to those experiencing chronic homelessness and serious mental health conditions.
