On Tuesday November 28th the giving season will officially open on Giving Tuesday, a day dedicated to supporting local non-profits. Step Up, along with numerous participating organizations, understands the importance of a dedicated day of giving.
“As the leading organization ending chronic homelessness in Southern California, Step Up depends on the support of the community,” said Chief Development Officer Carolyn Baker.
“All of Step Up’s programs and services are free of charge so we rely on the financial support from local individuals, businesses, and organizations. Our Giving Tuesday goal is to end homelessness for 1,000 individuals through permanent supportive housing.”
