Opened in 1994, Step Up on Second is Step Up’s first supportive housing development. It provides 36 units of single room occupancy (SRO) housing for adults experiencing serious mental health conditions and chronic homelessness. With major funding provided by the City of Santa Monica, Step Up serves as the service coordinator, mental health provider, and property manager.
