Lynne Elwan

Chief Philanthropy Officer Lynne Elwan joins Step Up with over 30 years of visionary leadership experience in senior management roles in both the nonprofit and private sectors. Ms. Elwan’s recent leadership roles in the nonprofit sector include Chief Philanthropy Officer, Executive Director, and Senior Planned and Major Gift Officer. In addition, she held the role of Vice President of Strategic Accounts for 15 years during her time in the private sector. She received her M.A. and B.A. in Business Administration from Orange County Business College.

Ms. Elwan oversees Step Up’s Philanthropy Team and its fundraising activities which include major and planned giving, campaigns, annual fund, foundation grants, events, donor stewardship and retention, volunteerism, marketing and communications, social media, and public relations initiatives. She is passionate about the mission of Step Up as she has a close family member who has suffered from homelessness, mental health, and drug abuse conditions. Ms. Elwan understands the need for the services Step Up provides, and is committed to working with our donors, foundations, corporate partners, and government entities to provide the financial resources necessary to help the most vulnerable among us to lead healthy, productive, dignified lives.
