Step Up on Vine, designed by Egan | Simon Architecture, is part of back-to-back tours of affordable housing projects in Hollywood September 26th. The tours are sponsored by the Los Angeles Chapter of American Institute of Architects (AIA) and are open to AIA|LA members, prospective clients, the general public, and the press.  The tour will highlight the process of designing Step Up on Vine, as well as the larger conversation about affordable housing and density in Los Angeles. “We are pleased to be part of the AIA tour” said Carolyn Baker, Chief Development Officer for Step Up. “We will focus on not only affordable housing and “green” construction standards, but also how permanent supportive housing such as Step Up on Vine is the key to ending homelessness in Los Angeles.” Following the tour, there will be refreshments and Q&A on the roof at Step Up on Vine.  For more information on the tours visit The American Institute of Architecture.
