In honor of Mental Health Month, the award-winning feature documentary Voices will make its national debut on public television. Voices features the stark and intimate portraits of three very different individuals and their struggle with severe mental illness in America. The stories of Sharon, Thomas and Aaron illuminate the challenges, realities, and often complex emotions and choices that surround people with psychotic mental illness and those who love them. The goal of the film is to spur conversation and broaden peoples’ perspectives on mental health issues. Join the film makers on this journey and invite others to do so as well. As part of Mental Health Month please tune in and help Step Up spread the word. See trailer here.
