Step Up’s Programs & Services in Orange County
Heroes Landing (previously known as Santa Ana Veterans Village) is Step Up’s new permanent supportive housing location in Santa Ana, CA which opened in June 2020. In co-development with Jamboree Housing Corporation. Jamboree is a nonprofit housing company that develops, acquires, renovates and manages permanently affordable housing throughout California. Heroes Landing is Jamboree’s first property exclusively for veterans experiencing homelessness, providing both permanent housing and supportive services. There are 76 units, including one unit for the property manager. Since early June, 61 veterans from all branches of the military have moved into the building.
Vice President of Inland Empire Housing First Programs Eddie Estrada oversees the project and worked closely with Program Manager Moises Lopez to establish the Step Up service delivery model at the new location.

Located in Santa Ana, CA, Heroes Landing opened in June 2020 with 76 units. In co-development with Jamboree Housing Corporation, Heroes Landing provides permanent supportive housing & supportive services for veterans experiencing homelessness. Along with the Step Up Life Skills team, the Long Beach VA, Strength in Support, and Goodwill all have offices onsite.
