Delivering compassionate support to people experiencing serious mental health conditions and chronic homelessness to help them recover, stabilize, and integrate into the community.
Step Up delivers compassionate support to individuals, families, young adults, and veterans, through three pillars of service:
Step Up uses the Housing First model to connect individuals experiencing chronic homelessness to housing. Housing First is a proven approach in which all individuals experiencing homelessness are believed to be housing-ready.
Step Up services help members improve their physical, mental, and emotional wellness. Programs include mental health services, psychiatric services, life-skills supports, and other health and wellness programs.
Step Up offers many programs to support our members in finding a meaningful role within their community, such as employment, school, or volunteering. Our person-centered approach helps members achieve their self-directed goals.
Changing lives across the nation.
at our housing developments and scattered site units throughout the country.
by programs and services across California, Florida, Georgia, and Tennesee.
by service organizations, corporate groups, and individual volunteers who help support our mission.
Step Up envisions a world in which all individuals, families, and communities affected by serious mental health conditions and persons who are experiencing chronic homelessness will have the opportunity to experience recovery and a sense of belonging, and that permanent supportive housing will be available to everyone.
Imagine a world where everyone has a home, a job, and a supportive community. 100% of your donation will go towards connecting people to the help they need and deserve.
